In this book selected texts from ten books of Osho's lectures on Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, held on December 25, 1973, are selected. until 10.5.1976. year, issued under the title: Yoga, The Alpha and the Omega. Selected articles are only related to comments Yoga sutra, other issues and topics are omitted. In part, this had to be done, because all the contents, which were published in ten books, would be too extensive to be published in one book. Fortunately, this outcome of Osho's comments only on sutras of Patanjali is quite sufficient to fully illuminate all the doubts about the understanding of this ancient text, which stands in the foundations of the spirituality of this world. It seems that after thousands of years the Patanjali himself came back and spoke about his famous Yoga sutras, but now everything he did not say for the first time, everything that should be said so that nothing remains, so that the modern man is perfectly clear. This impression comes as we read these Osho comments. The translation of sutras was taken from the best translation of Yoga sutra into Serbian with Sanskrit by Zoran Zec (Patanjali: Yoga Proverbs, Belgrade, 1977). Therefore, here we have a rare privilege to read Patanjali's Proverbs of Yoga in the best possible translation and with the best possible comments. Patanjali's Yoga sutras are the "Bible for Meditation," absolutely indispensable to anyone who intends to meditate, who meditates, and who thinks he has already mastered meditation. Only here can learn the essence and purpose of true meditation and spirituality.
